Hey guys, I’m totally new to this blogging thing- so please be patient with me! I feel like I need a new outlet to get my creative juices flowing, and a friend of mine suggested I should try this medium, so here I am!

First off, I’m a jack of all trades… I tend to dabble in anything (and everything) that interests me. I am currently a hairstylist and EMT. I love makeup, doing hair, vintage styling, and spending my weekends in an ambulance. Seriously. I couldn’t imagine life without either occupation, as it helps me maintain some sort of weird balance. Anywho, the one thing that I do have in life is PASSION, especially for people. I love hearing others’ stories about their challenges, moments of happiness/ unhappiness, successes/ failures, etc. More importantly though, I love to have a positive effect on people, whether it be a smile, good conversation, or showing someone how to style their hair correctly…. That is truly what makes my day!

On this blog, you can expect to see postings on makeup application, hairstyling, maybe some product reviews (Sephora junkie, here), and lifestyle tidbits that I think you guys may find interesting or of good use. Suggestions are always welcomed! I will also post some of my work that I do at the salon, to all you fellow hairdressers that may find it helpful. I would also like to get into YouTube tutorials, as many of my friends have said it would be helpful for them.  However, one small step at a time!

So yeah, I hope this helps you understand me a little bit more and what I am about….
